This Sunday is the last day in April. Then, it’s May. May, people!

Spring (and pollen) is in the air. And summer is coming.

This summer will bring with it connection events, new opportunities, and exciting building progress. Stay tuned. You might receive a separate email from me with just theater construction updates.

Our series will continue this weekend. And I have an important announcement to make this Sunday. Do your best to be there.

Here is an encouragement for you today—a prayer I’m praying for you:

I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
—Psalm 121:1-2

Where are you looking today? Who are you looking to? Where do you think your help will arrive from?

God is your hope today. He’s the Creator—over everything. Nothing is beyond His reach. He sees you… He’s with you… He’s for you.

May God bless you and keep you and be your help today.

I am excited about our new series, “What are we doing here?” Often times, we ask ourselves that question about life, but I don’t know if we ever ask ourselves that question in church. Or if we do, it may have a negative connotation, like “why am I here, I don’t belong.” But that is not what this series is about. It is about why we are at church. And more specifically, why are we at our church. We are going to talk through what our church is about, and what your part is in the health and life of your church. Because, what if there is a part of the church that you are missing out on, and it is keeping you from the life that God wants you to have? It is going to be a great series, not just for you, but for the life of our church.

Community Nights are kicking back up this coming Tuesday night. This will be a great five weeks that takes us right up to summer. It is a great chance to jump in and grow in relationship with God and with other people. If you are looking to get more connected, or if you are looking to just have a mid-week tune-up with your walk with God, Community Nights are a great opportunity. It is one of my favorite things we do.

A Note From Caleb Anderson

The revolution is still on! And it’s based on a resurrection.

The RESURRECTION we celebrated at Easter set in motion a restoration plan that we’re still living out to this day. Religion doesn’t cut it. Self-help isn’t enough. The resurrection changed everything… then… and now. This Sunday we continue to explore the implications of the resurrection and how many of us may be left confused about God and Church because of past experiences.

Join us for our series, based in the book of Acts:

CHURCH DETOX
Starting this Sunday—8:30, 10, 11:30a  & 6p

Bring someone with you who suffers from religionitus (I’m making that word up)—or who has been turned off from God because of misguided religion.

Oh, and BTW:

We have a Taco Cart after every service this Sunday.
