I love how we were able to celebrate the end of our You Make the Call series by inviting people to receive Jesus and choose to trust Him with their whole life. So many people stood to declare their faith at all of our Irvine experiences. It was beautiful to pray with those after the service and to see the emotion, freedom, joy and forgiveness sweep through their lives. I can’t wait to see how it impacts not only them but our community as we continue to become all God has created us to be.

This weekend we launch our new series, Love Where You Live. Join us as we turn our hearts toward our neighbors, friends, family and co-workers, learning more about how Jesus calls us to love and serve those around us. This is a great time to invite people in your life that you’ve been praying for and having spiritual conversations with – that they would get to see the heart of Jesus and His Church and what it means to love people right where they are.

I can’t wait to see you all this weekend. I’m praying for you as you finish this week strong.

Peace,
Kyle

I can’t…God can…He can through me.

I hope this has been resonating in your soul all week as we face the adversity of this world remembering God has given us the power through His Holy Spirit to persevere and experience His strength in and through our lives.

This weekend, we’ll be concluding our You Make The Call series. Kenton will be inviting people to stand and say, “I Believe,” declaring their faith and trust in Jesus. So please be praying for this weekend. Invite your friends and family to come and experience the truth and power of a relationship with Jesus.

As a church, we are totally committed to being in the world for world, living out the profound calling God gives us to be ministers of reconciliation, bringing and advancing good in the world around us. We have an amazing opportunity next Thursday night to hear from some thought leaders, pastors, businessmen and women on what it looks like to live out our faith in the community. I have heard all of these people and I want to invite you to join me as we are challenged and invited to become the kind of people and church God wants to use to change OC and the world. So, join me next Thursday night at Q COMMONS as we go on this journey together.

Looking forward to seeing you guys this weekend and can’t wait to meet your friends and family.

Peace,

Kyle

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  2 Corinthians 3:17

The Holy Spirit. Mysterious and ever-present through our relationship with Jesus, He is our advocate, guide, leader and strengthener. It is with Him that we can receive comfort, freedom, healing, rest and peace. As a staff, we received a glimpse of this yesterday as we gathered with Mike Pilavachi to reflect on God’s Word, worship, and pray together. I can’t wait for our all church worship gathering tonight as Mike teaches and leads us through a journey with the Holy Spirit and His promises. I hope you can be there.

So, how about that parking?! I want to thank you guys for your patience and grace as we continue changing our weekend parking flow. We’re making several significant changes this week, including allowing you to turn either way upon entering and exiting, so it will feel much more free. I love and appreciate your heart for our community, as we continue to create more space and ensure a better experience for everyone, particularly new people who are coming to church and experiencing the Gospel of Jesus and His Church for the first time.

I’m looking forward to this weekend as we gather again to worship and remember who God is and celebrate together in community. We’ll continue in our You Make The Call series with Kenton giving one of his favorite messages on wisdom. We’ll also hear from another high school student who will share a story from the Sri Lanka trip this summer.

I always love meeting and connecting with you and your friends and family on the patio – it’s great to see how God is growing us and building us into the people He created us to be!

Peace,

Kyle
