A Note From Kyle

What an amazing Father’s Day weekend we had together. I loved meeting your dads and families on the patio. It was awesome being there with you as you challenged one another on the obstacle course and chipping green, and sipped root beer and ate samples from the meat truck, while watching family members get thrown from the mechanical bull. Over 700 more people joined us this Father’s Day than last year, and we believe there are so many more looking for the life and relationships God designed for them. As we continue to put the gospel on display through relationships this summer, I’d love it if you would consider attending our Saturday night or Sunday 9am services to make more room for people to experience the truth and beauty of Jesus.

This weekend, we continue in our Bible series, and we’re actually going back to the very beginning wrestling with questions like: Who initiated creation? How and why did creation happen? What is the purpose of creation? This is going to be a foundational week in a great series and I know there are people in your life who are looking for answers to questions just like these. Invite them to join you – I can’t wait to see you guys and meet your family and friends on the patio.

Peace…

A Note From Kyle

Were you there? Last weekend was powerful as we witnessed the Kingdom on display, revealing Him through redemption, honesty and faith, during our worship response time with Caleb, Tim and Doug. I love how He is growing each of us as disciples, and as a church, with the freedom and hope of a relationship with Jesus.

Don’t miss a night of worship this Friday, June 14, with Tim Timmons as we celebrate the release of his new CD and how God is using him to encourage people everywhere to fearlessly follow Christ. To purchase tickets click here, you won’t want to miss it!

I’m really looking forward to this weekend as we launch into our new series, The Bible, where we’ll look at stories from the Bible in a new way as we explore the major story lines, people, and events that impacted history and shape our lives today. We’re also throwing a party – DADfest – honoring and celebrating dads everywhere. I’m looking forward to meeting your dad, friends and family on the patio as we continue to become who we were designed and created to be in community together.

Peace…

A Note From Kyle

“I was dead, but now I’m alive…”
“It’s time for me to get serious about following Jesus…”
“I couldn’t believe God loved me, but I know He does and I’m ready to follow Him…”

These are just a few of the quotes from our church community as we celebrated the conclusion of our Christian? series by inviting people to make courageous decisions for Jesus. Hundreds stood this weekend to mark this defining moment in their spiritual journey, and I love how we choose to stand with one another as we move forward into all God is calling us.

This weekend is one you’re not going to want to miss! Doug Fields will be teaching AND we’ve invited back our (and my) very good friend, Tim Timmons, to lead worship with Caleb. Both of these guys have deep spiritual and relational roots here at Mariners, and are a huge gift to the Kingdom. It’s an honor to have them be part of our Mariners family and to hear from them. So, invite your friends and family to join us – you will hear from God and be inspired and encouraged in your journey.

Peace…
