A Note From Kyle

How’s your week going? Are you submitting and serving one another in your relationships like Jesus? I’m loving this series on relationships and how it has challenged me (and all of us), to become more like Jesus in the way we view and interact with one another. By stripping off the desires and behaviors of the world that distract us, we are more easily able to use our words to build up and encourage instead of destroy, and serve one another in love.

I’m excited how this series is helping shape our lives and relationships. I believe it’s changing us and I can see how it’s changing our church, our families, and the way we live in our community. This week, I’ll be back looking at the power that drives our relationships as we conclude our Relationology series, and I’ll be giving an update on how God has been speaking on the search for our next lead pastor.

Looking forward to being with you all.

peace…

We’ve got lots to celebrate, don’t we? Rooted is in full swing. People are going through their prayer experiences, getting ready to serve our community together. Financially Free is underway, people are finding Godly ways to steward everything He has given them. Date Night for the community was a ton of fun as people got to laugh and connect together around relationship. Worship Night last Sunday, where we came together as one church from many communities, was profound as we celebrated the story God is writing in and through our churches, and we prayed for one another. I’m so excited about all the ways we’re becoming His people and His church–in the world, for the world.

Every week I see you guys bringing friends and family to come and experience the joy, the truth and the relationship we get to have with Jesus, and with one another. This weekend, that continues through our Relationology series. Jeff Maguire will be back talking more about becoming and living in the fullest expression of relationship with one another. Invite someone to be a part of of this weekend. It’s gonna be great.

Have you been avoiding the relationship killer this week? Have you been using your words to build people up and to bless and encourage, rather than to tear people down and destroy relationships? I love this series, and how it’s helping us become all of who God has called us to be as a community that extends love, kindness and generosity to one other.

Who needs a date night? Join us this Friday night as our very own Doug Fields and Jim Burns lead us through a great night of investing in one another and in relationships with each other. It’s going to fun and engaging. We’re going to get time to spend alone with each other as well as in group time, so make sure you come and hang out with us. You can get all of the details here.

Finally, this weekend, Doug will be back in our Relationology series with a message called, “Be Her Hero” asking the question Who do we want to be as men in the lives of our spouse and families? Guys- be courageous and show up! Wives- bring your spouses! It’s going to be great!

peace,
kyle

PS. Don’t forget this Sunday night, we gather as one church from many communities to worship, pray together and respond to God as one. Sun, Jan 27, 6p, at the Worship Center on our Irvine Campus. See you there!

I love what God is doing in and through our community. This past week we launched our winter session of Rooted and it was so great to see all of you jumping in looking to discover more about who God is, who you are, and how He designed you to live a life fearlessly following Jesus! I love how Jeff Maguire launched us into our new weekend series Relationology, inviting us to consider our most important relationship–with Him–and the opportunities He gives us to interact with one another. And, I love how many of you invited your friends to join you in community at Rooted, and to our weekend experience, as we become more of who God designed us to be.

This week, Jeff will be back teaching in Relationology, talking about the #1 killer of relationships. There are people in your life that want and need to hear the truth we get to experience each week together, so be listening to the Holy Spirit as He prompts you to invite your friends and family.

peace,
