MessageFrom-HB

The next four weeks will forever change our church.

This Sunday I’m giving a message and making an announcement that will change everything. I’m going to tell you about the unprecedented things that God is doing in our midst that you probably don’t even realize. You’re part of something special, and I hope you’ll step in and play YOUR PART in this next season of our church.

Don’t miss it. Don’t miss this moment. Don’t miss any of the next four weeks, as I lay out the vision of our church—who we are, why we do what we do, and where we’re headed.

If you’ve wondered what our vision is, don’t miss these next four Sundays.

If you’ve been curious about what our next steps are, don’t miss these next four Sundays.

If you have friends who need their hope restored and need a connection to a local church, don’t let them miss these next four Sundays.

AND,

If you, personally, need a reset, refocus, and rekindling of the passion in your own life, don’t miss these next four Sundays.

If you missed either of the last two messages, you might want to listen here.

See you soon…

caleb

P.S.: I’d encourage you to read the Psalm below and ask yourself, if I wrote a song about God’s goodness, what would I sing?

I will exalt you, my God and King, and praise your name forever and ever. I will praise you every day; yes, I will praise you forever. Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness. Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. I will meditate on your majestic, glorious splendor and your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue; I will proclaim your greatness. Everyone will share the story of your wonderful goodness; they will sing with joy about your righteousness.  Psalm 145:1-7 (NLT)

I’m so excited about our church! We launched another session of Rooted this week and over 100 more people are participating. Which means 100 more lives plugging into our church… 100 more people connecting in meaningful relationships… 100 more souls getting clearer about their life with God.

And it’s just the beginning.

God is doing something special in our church. New things are on the horizon, and you’ll be excited to see them unfold.

That’s all for now. Just know this: there’s a reason you’re here. We need you. Our community needs you. And it’s going to be a fun ride TOGETHER.

See you Sunday.

Caleb

What an Easter weekend we had! Our first Saturday evening outdoor service was a great success. Our Sunday services were just as powerful. Our church continues to pulse with energy and excitement as we enjoy the unique thing that God is doing in this time and place.

This Sunday, I’m kicking off a new series called, RESET. Everyone needs a reset. Even if you don’t think you need a reset right now, I will convince you in the course of 30 minutes that God has designed you with a need for continual “resets” and renewals. Join us! And bring a friend.

Don’t forget, PANCAKES after every service! Come hungry. Be friendly.

See you soon…

There’s something special about EASTER. At Easter we remember that Jesus died but didn’t stay dead. Everyone dies, but resurrections are unusual. Especially resurrections that were predicted and prophesied about for hundreds of years. That’s not normal. Jesus is not normal. In fact, we believe that Jesus was God with skin on. And we believe that His death and resurrection can result in forgiveness and new life…….for everyone.

Everyone. Forgiven. That’s what people are talking about when they talk about GOOD NEWS.

Following Jesus is not about rules, rituals, or right-wings. It’s about receiving God’s grace… His forgiveness… His love… and then passing it on.

You know someone who needs to hear that message this weekend. Invite them. Bring them. You might just be part of a miracle.

Easter service times:
Saturday 5p (Band stand in Central Park – food and activities for kids following service)
Sunday 8:30, 10, 11:30a, 6p

On a more personal note, where in your life do YOU need “resurrection?” What’s hurtful, bad, broken that needs a miracle? I’m praying for miracles this week… and I’m praying for you.

Life is beautiful… life is broken.

Life is purposeful… life is painful.

We live in the time of tension. Both realities—the good and bad—are always true, and are constantly our experience.

But we always have hope. And hope does not disappoint us.

Our hope hinges on resurrection. Easter is about resurrection. And Easter is coming.

But first: this [Palm] Sunday… We have something very special in store for you and the people you care about. Don’t miss this. And be on time.

I’m calling my message “That’ll do, Donkey,” and it will be one you won’t soon forget. (Bonus: we’ll reward the first few people who post on Facebook the compound movie references that title comes from.)

Study our Easter service times below. The services will be the same—and awesome—as we celebrate the shocking revolution of love: Jesus’ death and resurrection.

Remember: Saturday evening is in the park, so bring your own chairs, blankets, and extra people! Hopefully you’ve already begun inviting friends, family, and neighbors. There’s no better time to invite.

May God bless you this week. See you soon…
