It’s the week after Easter and it’s going to be great.
It’s the week after Easter, so don’t be late.

That’s all the poetic inspiration I have at this moment, but I promise I’ll be more inspired on Sunday.

Sunday we kick-off the series WHAT IF.
…what if it’s true?
…what if Jesus still lives?
…what if Jesus has more for me… for my life…?

You’re not going to want to miss these messages from the life and ministry of Jesus. Bring someone with you.

Couple of other things…

Sign up for ROOTED. If finances are an issue, come Sunday and find Ericka on the patio. (Or email her right now).

Play VOLLEYBALL for charity. May 3rd, Newland courts. Mariners HB is co-sponsoring a 4-on-4 vball tournament for the NEGU (Never Ever Give Up) Foundation. You can bring a team, or we can put you on a team. Sign up here or on the patio this Sunday.

What If Series

What if the claims of Jesus are true? What if your life could look dramatically different than it does today? What if you lived with a sense of joy, freedom and purpose? Like the early audiences of Jesus, we are invited to choose either living in our skepticism or discovering the truth of who Jesus is. Join us for a remarkable journey through the Gospel of Luke as we explore What If and discover what’s possible when we follow Him.

Join us for our weekend services:
Huntington Beach
Irvine
Mission Viejo
Ocean Hills
Santa Ana

MessageFrom-HB

“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’” Luke 15:4-6

That lost sheep was me.

That lost sheep has been you, too.

We are just a bunch of sheep who have been rescued. Now we get to enjoy following our God, and inviting others into the same generous love.

Will you join me this EASTER week in praying for a few specific things:
– That many “lost” will be found
– That we would all be those who rejoice with God when He rescues just one
– That we would create a community that invites, welcomes, and cares for those God brings

EASTER services times: 8:30, 10:00, 11:30am – with overflow seating. (Still, come early if you can… and preferably at 8:30 or 11:30am!)

I’m really looking forward to being with you this Sunday. If you’re on the fence, fight through any excuses that are coming to mind. You need to be there. And consider who else you can bring…

It’s PALM SUNDAY people! If you aren’t clear on the significance of that, make sure you’re at one of our services–8:30, 10:00, 11:30am. If you think you know the significance, come prepared to have your perspective renewed.

Also, come HUNGRY! We’re serving Korean BBQ after every service.

Why are we serving Korean BBQ after every service? Did Jesus eat short-ribs on Palm Sunday?

Probably not. But we are a multi-cultural church. And Korean BBQ is like the Golden Gate Bridge over cultural divides (just go with me on that). Plus, it’s delicious. Come, stay, eat, and make some new friends!

Don’t forget to invite your friends to an Easter service (8:30, 10:00, 11:30am with plenty of overflow space).

Don’t forget to grab more Easter invitations when you come this Sunday.

Don’t forget to volunteer at one of the services.

And don’t forget to listen to and pass along recent messages here

Easter’s coming…
