Dadfest 2015 was unbelievable!

Because you guys invited friends and family to join you, you made it the most highly-attended service (outside of Christmas and Easter) ever at Mariners Church Irvine! What a great time to celebrate the men in our lives, and most of all, remember that we have a loving, heavenly Father who is constantly speaking to us and reminding us of who we are as His kids. I loved being here and celebrating with you.

In this season of Jubilee, it is awesome to see God at work – through Dadfest, our recent Rooted celebration and Jubilee weekend where we celebrated the past 50 years of our church. Also, as I sit here writing this, I’m watching over 4,000 kids and volunteers swarm the campus experiencing the Sweet Life VBS. It’s been an amazing week watching God build relationships that will last a lifetime, both with Him and one another.

Invite your friends and family to join us this weekend as we celebrate all that God is doing through VBS and all that He will continue to do through our church in the community. What a great adventure we are on together…

Peace,
Kyle

Jubilee!

Last weekend was a beautiful time of celebration as we looked back at our rich history and the courageous men and women who were committed to reach their friends and neighbors with the Good News of Jesus, laying the foundation for us to build on today. I love that we get to continue in their footsteps, following Jesus and changing the world around us with His power, love and kindness. We’re going to continue telling God’s story through our church and walk through this year of Jubilee together, so join us as we celebrate all that God has done and is doing.

Dadfest 2015 is here! This is the perfect weekend to invite your friends and family to join us as we celebrate men with bacon, beards, laughter, fun activities for the family, cool toys and dad stuff. I’m looking forward to teaching and sharing about who God is as our Father…What does that even mean? What does God sound like? What does He want for us…or from us? This will be such a great weekend as we celebrate who God is and how He’s at work in and through us. I look forward to seeing you with your friends and family this weekend!

Peace

Kyle

Set this year apart as holy, a time to proclaim freedom throughout the land for all who live there.  Leviticus 25:10a (NLT)

JUBILEE! I am so excited to be celebrating the story God has been writing in our church over the past 50 years! This weekend is the perfect opportunity to invite your friends, family, classmates – your community – to come and witness the faithfulness and goodness of God on display. We’re going to take time in our services to mark this season of Jubilee – looking back and seeing the themes of Jubilee reflected in our church through forgiveness … reconciliation … redemption … healing … freedom in Christ. And, we’ll take time to celebrate His work in us today and what He’s inviting us into for the future as we will give you, your family and friends the opportunity to stand and say, “I Believe!” We are part of an unbelievable story of grace and love that God is writing through His presence and power in us. I can’t wait to celebrate with you this weekend!

Looking forward to being with you!

Peace,
Kyle
