The promise of Christmas expressed in Luke 2:10 tells us that we have nothing to fear. God, the creator of the universe, our Heavenly Father, came to earth for every single one of us, clothed in the humility of a baby. The joy that we have from being in a relationship with Him – embracing the truth and the story and power of Christmas together – this is something you don’t want to miss! This is the message that the whole world is looking to experience this Christmas. I can’t wait for our Christmas services and to see you and your family and friends as we immerse ourselves in the power, wonder and truth of His promise of great joy for all people. I’m looking forward to these next couple of weeks with you. Don’t miss out! Join me as we celebrate Christmas together and then launch into our new series, The Pursuit of Happiness, beginning in January.

Mariners HSM is excited to present our annual Grow Retreat where high school students have the opportunity to get away for a weekend and focus on Spiritual Growth. Peace…hope…joy…

I love how we’re discovering what Christmas Is as we walk through this season together. I pray that you have been able to rest in the joy that a relationship with Jesus brings and experience His presence in this season of waiting.

I’m so excited as we continue with Kenton this weekend as he talks about the gift of love through Jesus at Christmastime. Enjoy this last week before Christmas. Don’t allow the world and consumerism – shopping, the rush to buy presents and attend parties – to overwhelm and consume you. Take time to rest in the Advent prayers we’re sending out each day. Invite your friends and neighbors to come with you and discover what Christmas is this weekend, and next week at one of our Christmas Eve services. This is the best time for us to remember and celebrate the gift of Jesus and Christmas and to put His Church on display through relationship. I love what God is doing here in and through you.
