A Note From Kyle

How have you expressed fearless generosity in your life this week? Are you trusting a God of abundance? Giving generously to those in need? Loving a stranger as if he or she was simply a friend you hadn’t met yet? Or perhaps, you have completely surrendered — praying the courageous prayer of Jesus from the Garden of Gethsemane, “Not my will, but Your will.”

This week, we continue our journey of Fearless Generosity by remembering and celebrating Palm Sunday – the day Jesus rode triumphantly into Jerusalem as the people shouted, “Hosanna! Save us!” We’ll get to experience the joy and power of the day as a family (with some surprises from our kids), as well as reflect on why it still matters for us over 2000 years later.

Over this next week, the whole world will start to pay attention to the story we celebrate in Jesus everyday. So be listening – listen for God and who He wants you to invite to Easter!

A Note From Kyle

Do ever wonder about the most dangerous place in the Bible? Or why it’s the most dangerous place? We are a culture fascinated with danger and living on the edge. This weekend, Kenton will be back to answer these questions and the implications they have on our lives today. Bring a friend with you – maybe someone who is a thrill-seeker??

Last week I had several conversations with many of you wresting with what it looks like to completely trust a God of abundance, to forgive sacrificially, and to love one another, your neighbor, or even enemies and strangers with a fearless, generous love. I am humbled to see how God is using our Fearless Generosity series to remind us of who He is, how He sees us as His children, and how He is transforming us into the people He created us to be – fearless followers of Jesus that are changing the world.

Women’s Easter Sunrise Breakfast & Prayer

When He came near…

All of his followers began joyfully to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderous miracles they had seen. “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord!!”… But some Pharisees said, “teacher, rebuke your followers!” He replied, “I tell you, if they keep quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!”

A Note From Kyle

What did you give up for Lent? How is God speaking to you in the space you have created? As we live out the journey of Lent towards the cross and the resurrection of Jesus, I continue to be amazed at how simple the act of giving up dessert has invited God into my life. He continues to remind me in new and profound ways to draw close to Him, to remember the sacrifice of Jesus, to focus on Him and serve others differently in this season. I love how we are being transformed by engaging on this journey of Lenten sacrifice that The Church has done for thousands of years.

I also love how the weekend series were in, Fearless Generosity, ties into the journey of Lent as well. It teaches and reminds us all how to become the people God has designed and created us to be, people who fearlessly follow Jesus and change the world around us. Last weekend we learned how to live fearless and generous lives by acknowledging the power of money and how to live as a steward without letting it control us. This week, we’re going to look at the one outstanding debt in our lives we should never even attempt to eliminate, and how it can change our lives and the world!

looking forward to being with you all this weekend…
