A Note From Jeff Pries
Wow, what a great Sunday we had this past weekend! Your generosity was overwhelming; we handed out 195 food bags and saw 178 returned – completely full! That is almost double our goal for Thanksgiving, and of course, the turkeys keep coming in (insert joke here).
We will be giving out almost 200 dinners this Saturday as a way to help meet the needs of our community. Way to go! As part of Celebrate Different, we will continue to have opportunities this season where we get to give back and bless others. What a blessing it is to be part of a great, vibrant church that is focusing on growing closer to Jesus and each other, while making a difference in our community at the same time. As you can see below, there is a lot going on at Mariners Church Ocean Hills. So, invite a friend to and jump into this great adventure God has for us.

Help us reach out to those in need in our community through distribution of Thanksgiving-in-a-bag & turkeys while engaging in some fun holiday activities too! Divine Scarf Drive
Bring in purple, pink or white scarves and help us fill Divine Outreach Bags of Love for our ministry to women in the sex industry. Silk, knit or crocheted scarves needed, not to exceed 82″ long. Drop scarves in the collection bin in the reception area of the Life Development Bldg, 3rd floor.

We are continually accepting seasonally appropriate clothes, new socks & towels, hygiene kits, diapers, baby wipes, and gas & grocery gift cards. Sleeping bags, warm blankets and warm jackets are especially needed this time of year.
Please drop donations off at the HB office on Tuesdays, or contact us to arrange another time.

I’m so proud of our church. We have incredible people with a commitment to be a part of a humble revolution–joining God in the advancement of His upside down kingdom. You can join in again every morning. Jump in.

1. Pray. Pray that God would open your eyes to see what He’s doing… to see what really matters.
2. Fill a grocery bag with food for our friends in need. We’ll be collecting them this Sunday. Get more info here.
