Laying the cornerstone for the Bison auditorium
Church Verse 1989
On Thanksgiving Day in 1989, the Elders unveiled the cornerstone to the new Worship Center and held their first service in that space.
The significance of the new auditorium was profound. It was a tangible way of saying, “We are healed!” God had provided in miraculous ways.
Despite the pain of the years before, He was clear. God was not finished with Mariners Church. There was a reason the church was still alive and there was more Kingdom work to do.
The original vision of Mariners Church had strong roots. The desire to inspire people to follow Jesus and understand how they can change the world was at the forefront of everything we did as a church. Clearly God was on the move.
