Meanwhile, a beautiful transformation
was happening near Minnie Street in Santa
Ana. A plot of land adjacent the community
center spent years as a neglected trash dump. Through
amazing circumstances, Mariners obtained the right to use the
land and soon volunteers and community members began to clear
it out. Today, that piece of land is a sports field and a community garden, flourishing with activity and life. The community came together to create a space where families could play and grow delicious food. God truly is in the business of bringing dead things to life.
